Rigor. Technology. History.
Language. Current Events.
In order to create well-rounded respectful students, we bring rigor, technology, history, and current events into our classrooms. |
Foreign Language And Global Studies is a teamed program of students, teachers, and parents. Students in our program have a dedicated team of teachers that purposefully collaborate to create rigorous interdisciplinary units and projects in order to expand students' global awareness and increase their knowledge of current events.

Our program earned Hilltop Middle School the distinguished honor of being recognized as a California Gold Ribbon School due to our core values: innovative teaching approach, effective integration of technology, and commitment to preparing the 21st century learner in a global society. We also offer the most languages at the middle school level in our district, with all participants in the program taking a foreign language class: Spanish, French, Italian, or Chinese. We are proud of the diversity of population of our students who represent all of the San Diego South Bay area and Sweetwater Union High School District.
