Angel PradoMath
Education: University of California, San Diego
Bachelor's Degree: Math and Philosophy Master's Degree: Education Philosophy of Education: A student's grade in math class is not as important as the math they learn. To promote this philosophy I teach growth mindset so students learn to value their individual progress. I do my best to make content relevant, implement social justice topics, and have students create, so students read and write the world in mathematics. Teresa MartinScience

Bachelor's Degree: Biology Masters: Educational Leadership Philosophy of Education: Over my 35 years in the Sweetwater School District, my philosophy has changed with the times. One consistent value that has stood the test of time is that schools have a responsibility to prepare students for the world of work. Not everyone will be college bound but everyone will need to work to provide for themselves. The goal is to find a job or career that you are interested in and will allow you to grow and change throughout your life. Since science offers such a broad range of careers at all levels, it is a great place for young people to grow and experience the world around them. Even if they don’t work in the field of science, the need to be wise consumers of science and technology products that impact their lives. |
