My name is Ana De León. I am the proud parent of Analee Martinez, a 8th grader. This is my second time going through the FLAGS program. My 11th grader also attended HTM. I have worked with children since 1991 and am currently employed with the Chula Vista Elementary School District. I have seen the impact that parents can make in a community. Working with English Language Learners I see the importance of maintaining a native language and speaking a second or even a third language. Being on the FLAGS Board allows me to help this beautiful community grow for Analee and her classmates. My goal is to help in any way I can to make this wonderful program thrive, creating the globally adapt citizens we need for our tomorrow.

Lina Silva-Cestero, Treasurer
I have a 7th grader that is involved in the FLAGS program. I have been involved on other boards for the past 6 years and love doing whatever needs to be done to help our kids grow. As a Veteran I like to model what it is like to achieve goals and live up to high standards that I have set for myself, which is what the FLAGS program is about. I believe that if all of us parents work together our kids will have the best experience possible this year. If you have any questions concerning the Treasurer's Report or other Board matters please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
